28-Year-Old Dies In Two-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut

A 28-year-old man was killed in a crash involving an SUV and a motorcycle in Connecticut.

Troopers in Litchfield County responded to a crash on North Street in Goshen at about 5:45 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29, according to Connecticut State Police

Police said a 2020 Subaru Crosstrek Premium was traveling north on Route 63 and was making a left onto the driveway of 161 North St. when a 2009 Honda CBR1000RR ABS motorcycle struck the rear of the Subaru.

The motorcyclist, identified as Travis Raymond, of Torrington, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the Subaru, a 35-year-old woman from Goshen, and a 37-year-old Shelton man who was a passenger, both suffered minor injuries in the crash, authorities reported.

The Subaru and the motorcycle were towed from the scene due to disabling damage, police said.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing.
